When you use your QuickTake Camera to take lots of pictures, the alphabetical order of the file names is not the same as the chronilogical order. If you want to use JPEGView or some other slide show viewer you have to rename the first 10 pictures (or 2-9 if you want to get picky) to get them to display in the order in which you took them.
QuickTake Renamer does that for you. It will make 1, 2, 3ﾉ to 01, 02, 03ﾉ which makes slide show programs run the slide show in the correct order.
Copy the files from your camera to your hard disk. Make sure that the folder with the pictures contains the output from only one "roll of film". Launch the QuickTake Renamer application and select the first file from that folder. After it fixes the names it comes back to the open file dialog. You can process more folders of QuickTake pictures, or hit the Cancel button to quit the program.
